Willow tricks Bavmorda into completing her spell, driving him out of the land forever and leading him to dominate it. He returns to his place, fixing the baby for Sorsha and Madmartigan.
Who is making Willow?
Though Ron Howard won’t be returning to the director’s president for the Willow series, he’ll still be attached to superintendent produce the series alongside Lucas film regulars Kathleen Kennedy and Jonathan Kasdan. Kasdan, who worked considerably with Howard and has been an a-writer on Solo A Star Wars Story, will also be leading the charge as the design’s show runner. Who is the cast of this Movie?
Willow wouldn’t be Willow without the person who brought the cherished character to life in the first place. Warwick Davis was first introduced to Lucas film when he brought Wicket in Return of the Jedi and has had at least one gem in almost every Star Wars film since then. After a prestigious career in low places, Davis was finally allowed to become a leading man in a major high-budget design with Willow. Given Davis’ love of the part over time and his appreciation for portraying people with dwarfism, it makes perfect sense that he would return.
Davis isn’t the only cast member returning, as Joanne Whalley will also reprise her role as Sorsha, Bavmorda’s formerly negative son turned loyal supporter and tasked with protecting baby Willow. This hints at where the story might go, as both Sorsha and Madmartigan promise to raise and see that the child is given the life it deserves. Unfortunately, Whalley’s on-screen love interest and off-screen husband won’t be among the returning cast. Still, both Whalley and Kasdan confirmed at their festival panel that Kilmer will continue throughout the addicting-favorite Madmartigan series and that Kilmer fully supports it.
