In the past in the day, actor Raanjhanaa actor posted a blog post declaring that this was his most difficult role to take on’. Posting a picture of the show, he wrote, “Possibly the hardest role I’ve had to play. I’ve played fictional stories before, but this one is bound to be one of the most tragic. A fire that left a trail of tragic events that followed. Tragedies Neelam and Shekhar Krishnamoorthy has to contend through over two decades. Watch their story unfold in #TrialByFire. Trial By Fire starring Abay Deol has caught the attention of everyone. The film is inspired by The Uphar Cinema incident that was tragically triggered on June 13,1997. The theater was destroyed by fire at the time of screening the Bollywood film Border at 3 pm left more than 59 people dead and 100 wounded during the stampede.
Recently actor Abhay Deol posted on his IG handle to announce the trailer for the upcoming web-based drama Trial By Fire, based on the tragic story of the same name. Abhay portrays Shekhar Krishnamoorthy who, together and his spouse Neelam (played by Rajshri Deshpande) is devastated when he loses both of his children in the flames and the couple fight with a hammer and a sling for justice. The ordeal goes on for more than 18 years.
Abhay Deol as well as Rajshri Deshpande have been cast in the roles of a couple Shekhar as well as Neelam that lose both their children and fight to get justice for over 18 years. Abhay Deol who has shared his story posted “Possibly the most difficult character I’ve ever played. I’ve performed real stories before, but this one is bound to be the most devastating. The film’s makers have released the trailer for the film.
