American superhero film Shazam!, which is an adaptation of Shazam 2, the DC Comics character of the same name, is set to return with a sequel, titled Shazam! The Fury of Gods.

The film was directed by David F. Sandberg, this is the 12th film of DCEU. American Media franchise DC Extended Universe (DCEU).

The first episode “Shazam!” was released on April 5, 2019 and received a positive reaction from both the public and critics. It was a huge hit and earned $366 million globally.

After the film’s release in the year 2019 the creators of the film announced that the film would get renewed to the sequel portion. The moment the creators announced it, the enthusiasm of the fans waiting for the sequel soared to the heights. It’s among the superhero movies that is awaited by the most, Indian fans are excited at the trailer.

Shazam 2 Release Date

In March, the producers of the film revealed the date for the release of the highly anticipated sequel to Shazam!. The movie was originally scheduled to be released just a few days before Christmas 2022or 16th Dec 2022, in the USA and Canada, but was delayed until.

The film was distributed through Warner Bros. Pictures. It was originally scheduled to release on April 1st 2022. However, it was delayed until October 4, 2022 and again until June 2nd, 2023. finally, it will be released on 17 March 2023.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom that was scheduled to release on March 17th, is scheduled to be released on Christmas 2023.

Fans are beyond thrilled to see the newly introduced villains Kalypso as well as Hespera and Hespera, on the move.

The characters don’t have their own comic book counterparts and director Sandberg is basically given the full reign with the characters.

He has previously stated to Screen Rant: “I mean, it’s a dream coming to life first of all. I’ve watched movies alongside Lucy and Helen and now I’m able to work with them. That’s just incredible. They’re just the most talented. When we saw those parts in mind, we thought”Let’s see if we can find the most powerful and stunning actresses we could.’ We were able to get them, since they said yes. It’s amazing.”

It depicts the actress’s Hespera along with Liu’s Kalypso getting ready for the war and promising to “annihilate all”.

The group must band together to take on against the Daughters of Atlas, face the wrath of gods, and secure their power is protected. Also, they must to save the world in time. No biggie!

The next installment in the series will concentrate more on Billy’s foster children, as the group face their rivals, the Daughters of Atlas as a uniting front.

The synopsis states: “Bestowed with the powers of gods Billy Batson and his friends from foster care are learning to balance teens with an adult Super Hero alter-egos.
