Connect Telugu Movie

It’s interesting to note that Lady Superstar Nayanthara’s husband Vignesh is funding the “Connect Telugu Movie” project, which is reported to be a horror movie made by Ashwin Saravanan, who Nayanthara previously worked with on the 2015 movie “Maya.” The movie’s creators confirmed Connect’s release date, and UV Creations is helping out with the endeavour.

Connect Story

Ramkumar Kaavya wrote the script for the Tamil thriller-drama film Connect, which was directed by Ashwin Saravanan. Nayanthara plays the major role in the film, whereas Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher, Vinay Rai, and many other actors play supporting parts.

Manikantan Krishnamachary handled the cinematography, and Richard Kevin was in charge of the film editing. Prithvi Chandrasekhar composed the background music and also provided the soundtrack. Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara, who work together as Rowdy Pictures, produced this film.

In a world where the government has imposed a national curfew, Connect tells the story of Nayanthara, a single mother who detects alarming changes in her daughter’s attitude. How she solves the issue after turning to an Anupam Kher-played priest for help is the remaining plot of this movie.

Star Cast Of Connect

The movie, which was written by Ashwin Saravanan and Kaavya Ramkumar and directed by Ashwin Saravanan, features Nayanthara, Anupam Kher, Sathyaraj, Vinay, and Nafisa Haniya as its main cast. Prithvi Chandrasekhar provided the music, and Vignesh Shivan is in charge of producing it under the banner of Rowdy Pictures.

There are more technicians in the movie. Along with Sreeraman and Siva Sankar as the art directors, Sachin Sudhakaran as the sound designer, Hariharan M (Sync cinema), and Ramakrishnan as the sound mixer, Richard Kevin edited the movie. Astha Bisani worked as a prosthetic artist, Promo Works was in charge of the DI, K Arun Sangameshwar was in charge of the colour, and Accel Media was in charge of the VFX. M R, “Real” Satish organised the stunts.

Connect’s Teaser

The teaser for Connect has been released, and it looks amazing. There will be no intermission for the first time in Tamil cinema, and the movie lasts about 99 minutes. Vignesh Shivan, the movie’s producer and director, deserves praise for coming up with such a distinctive experience. Typically, only Hollywood can generate this kind of momentum. Nevertheless, the crowd was captivated by the fascinating teaser.

Connect Movie OTT Platform (Digital Rights)

Nayanthara appeared in three movies this year: “O2,” “Godfather,” and the newest Malayalam film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, “Gold.” However, “Connect” has attracted a lot of attention because it is the second project Nayanthara and Ashwin Saravanan have worked on together after the immensely popular Maya.

Along with Connect, Nayanthara has appeared in the untitled Atlee films Iraivin and Jawan, both of which star Shahrukh Khan.

However, the movie is scheduled to premiere in theatres on December 22, 2022, regardless of digital rights. The creators have not yet disclosed this information, but we may anticipate finding out who bought the digital rights when the movie opens in theatres.

OTT Movie Release Date for Connect

One of Tamil cinema’s most distinctive directors, Ashwin Saravanan, infuses horror themes into each of his productions. Game Over, in which Taapsee Pannu stars, was regarded as an avant-garde and experimental picture.

The bulk of horror movies, he said in an interview, are superficial, but Connect dealt with emotion and logic, and this video focused on the feelings we had throughout the lockdown. As a result, Ashwin Saravanan seems to have a lot of faith in Connect.

Anupam Kher, a seasoned actor from Bollywood, makes his Kollywood debut and has a significant role in the movie. The movie will debut in theatres on December 22, 2022, and an online video release could happen 45 days afterwards.

Connect: The Makers’ Message

After Gameover, this movie is Ashwin and Kavya’s second collaboration. The filmmaker claimed in a recent interview that the movie’s writing and shooting were stressful and anxious at different points. The writers inserted elements of despondency and uncertainty into the movie as there were discussions regarding how tough it was for people all across the world to recover from the coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown.

In addition to the fictitious horror element, these nuanced feelings—such as dread, anxiety, terror, and hopelessness—have also been shown in Connect.

In a press release announcing the release of the Hindi trailer, the producers said that “Connect has been receiving a lot of love from people and celebrities since the Tamil teaser has been released. The makers were forced by this to release the Hindi version, which would be released following the Tamil version.

The Hindi version of “Connect” is slated for release on December 30, while the Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions will debut on December 22. Our interest in this horror thriller is piqued by the new poster announcing the Hindi trailer and the movie’s release.

Ashwin Saravanan said, “I was feeling pressured and anxious; the times were quite unclear,” in a chat with Silver screen India. There was a sense of helplessness and scepticism over our ability to move on from it. I realised the only genre that would serve my goal for expressing those feelings in a movie was horror.

The horror subgenre is ideally suited to these feelings of terror, dread, anxiety, and hopelessness. Because it was difficult for us to connect with each other during the lockdown, we came up with the title Connect. In the movie, I want to show that. One of the layers we’ve investigated is what happens when we can’t connect.

Together with his wife Kaavya Ramkumar, Ashwin collaborated on the story for the second time following Game Over.

In Chennai, Tamil Nadu, dates were continually cancelled as the filming got under way in October 2021. On November 18, 2021, the birthday of Nayanthara, the film’s creators presented the first look poster. In the middle of 2022, primary photography was finished.
