An Action Hero is a Genre Breaker Movie For Ayushmann Khurrana
Ayushmann Khurrana actor is hoping for a career reset with the forthcoming movie An action hero, in which he plays a film star caught in an action movie plot in real life. The actor has described the movie as a disruptive genre-breaker. The movie arrives after the release of a string of disappointments for the once-unbeatable star.
Ayushmann Khuranna is well-recognized for movies such as Badhaai Ho and Dream Girl, and Subh Mangal Saavdhan said “An Action Hero” is his first movie without any social message.
Ayushmann says that the movie is a genre breaker for him. It differs from the staple genre of social comedy, and there is no message in the movie. There is a complete thrill in the movie. It is a roller coaster ride, Ayushman Khurrana told reporters on Thursday night.
This movie is about an extraordinary person in an ordinary scenario. The emotion of revenge in the movie is an ordinary thing, but in the film, the superstar is seen in an ordinary situation. How does he deal with it Khurrana added, this is all the story.
Pataal Lok star Ahlawat said that he loved the script of the movie An Action Hero. You may not be able to say who is a villain or hero. Everyone has their own reason for doing things. Ayushmann Khurrana said that he never thought of the character as a villain as he has strong reasons behind it. The movie is directed by Anirudh Iyer, who has served as an Assistant Director in “Tanu Weds Manu Returns,” Aanand Lal’s movie, and Zero. In the film An action hero, Neeraj Yadav has penned the screenplay.
It is the 90s Hollywood hit Last Action Hero in the movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and An Action Hero is not only established as a thriller and action movie but also a commentary on the fickle nature of stardom that includes a mention of the recent volatile items where Bollywood stars regularly finds itself at the receiving end of the public wrath.
Anirudha says that the team did not approach “An Action Hero” as not only an actioner, as the story of the movie has several layers. The movie is more than an action one. There is humor, action, and thriller. The case is such that Khurrana ends up taking action as per the director.
Rai is producing the movie through Colour Yellow production; he said the movie looks at the conflict between two strong men. There is a chase sequence teased in the trailer that is laced with humor and comedy with both Jaideep Ahlawat’s and Ayushmann’s antagonist, who thinks that Ayushmann’s character was responsible for his brother’s death in the top form.
Also, previously Jaideep has played a villainous sort in the same chase-oriented established in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar Dibakar Banerjee’s movie. Also, director Anirudh has assisted with movies such as Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Shah Rukh Khan’s movie zero has written the story, and Neeraj Yadav has penned the screenplay.
Ayushmann is well-known for socially relevant family drama movies such as Shubh Mangal Saavdhan and Baidhaai Ho, but current efforts to achieve the same kind of success have failed. Khurrana movies have been struggling at the box office in the post-pandemic time. Anek, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and the current one, Doctor G, are all underperforming due to positive responses.
The poster of the movie Ayushmann Khurrana‘s character poses heroically in front of a film poster, teasing the movie’s self-referential tone. An action hero is directed by Iyer, and the film has described as an offbeat satire and silk action. An action-hero movie is produced by Anand L Rai, who is also well-known for producing small-town dramas. The movie An Action Hero is going to be released in cinemas on 2 December 2022. You can enjoy the humor and comedy in the theatres.
